About Me

Ever since I was a little girl, weddings have held a special place in my heart. It all started when I was the flower girl at my parents' vow renewal. I loved that dress so much, I wore it every chance I had until it no longer fit! That experience sparked my joy for weddings, and it’s stayed with me ever since.

In 2023, I made a big leap: I left my career in the fast-paced New York City fashion industry to pursue wedding planning full-time. After relocating to Virginia, I founded Tate + Co. and dove into the world of creating unforgettable weddings for couples. Shortly after, I got engaged. Stepping into the shoes of a bride was a game-changer, and gave me an entirely new perspective on wedding planning. I understand firsthand the pressure, the excitement, and the desire to make every moment perfect — all while staying focused on what matters most: your relationship.

At Tate + Co., my mission is simple: to take the stress out of wedding planning. I aim to create a seamless, enjoyable planning experience that allows you to enjoy the journey, not just the big day.

FAQs

  • Tate + Co is based out of Loudoun County, Virginia. While many of our weddings are in Northern Virginia, we serve all of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.

  • We do not offer a “Day of Coordination” package, but we do offer a coordination package that starts 6 weeks before your wedding. We don’t feel that your event could be accurately planned if we get started that day (or even that week!). We spend six weeks getting to know you, working with your vendors, and understanding your wedding vision to ensure it comes to life seamlessly.   • As a planner, my answer may be a little biased, however, if you want a stress-free wedding day and planning experience, then yes - hire a planner! We will manage all aspects of your day so that you can just soak in the magic of your wedding day!

  • I try to be incredibly transparent with my pricing. Each package starting price is stated here, but will vary depending on your specific needs!
